AEGINA TOUR
If you do not have time to visit one of the famous Greek islands let us tempt you with a day trip to Aegina a small island of a great beauty only an hour away from Athens. Aegina is an ideal destination which gives you a taste of the Greek islands and the Greek countryside without having to go far from the city.
Our tour starts with a drive to the port and after an hour on the ship we will reach our destination. Our first visit will be the monastery of Saint Nektarios who established the monastery on the remains of a byzantine one between 1904 and 1907. Saint Nektarios spent there the last twelve years of his life helping the whole community by offering food to those in need. His remains along with his personal belongings are still there and open for the people to visit. Our next stop will be the ancient temple of Afea Athena. Since the island is very close to Athens it too develops an important civilization and the impressive temple is the proof. Stands there from the fifth century b.C and it is in very good condition as most of its pillars are still standing. When the atmosphere is clean Athens and Sounion are visible, the rest of the days the amazing view of the sea still impresses.
After your meal you will be able to enjoy all the other beauties that Aegina has to offer such as the beautiful beaches and the local delicacies made with the local pistachio. Then we will go back to Athens.

The charge for the tours and transfers is based on the vehicle used, therefore is per vehicle and not per person.
The price includes the driver and the vehicle. Our drivers are very knowledgeable and can give you all the information about the archaeological sites, ancient history but also modern life and culture, although are forbidden by law to enter the sites with you. If you wish someone to enter the sites with you, we can arrange for you to have a licensed tour guide with an extra cost.
Our prices include the driver with the vehicle, fuel and in case of a trip outside of Athens it also includes the toll fair and the driver’s accommodation. The prices don’t include the fees to the sites, meals and in case of a trip outside of Athens your accommodation.
Tips are not mandatory, it is up to your discretion if you want to give and how much!
